SAYAKA MIZUNO

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Geneva in 1991, Sayaka Mizuno obtained a Bachelor’s degree in cinema at HEAD – Geneva. Her diploma film KAWASAKI KEIRIN had its world premiere at the 2016 Nara International Film Festival in Japan. The film received the Flaherty Talent Award and the Prix du Jury SSA/SUISSIMAGE for the most innovative Swiss film at Visions du Réel 2017, as well as the Prix des formations audiovisuelles – Prix de la MAIF at the Traces de Vies festival. She went on to study at ECAL/HEAD, graduating with a Master’s degree in directing. COLOSTRUM is her first feature-length film.
